The Family Business Association Saskatoon (FBAS) is proud to have been part of the Saskatoon business community since 1999, when a group of family business members came together to create a collective of peers for mutual support.

Originally called the Saskatoon Association of Family Enterprise (SAFE), the organization has evolved over the years, but its mission has always stayed the same: to promote the success of business families.

Whether you are part of a family business or providing expert advice to family enterprises, we're here as a supportive space where you can learn, grow, and connect with others in Saskatoon’s vibrant family business community. Committed to the principle of non-solicitation, we aim to foster a warm and welcoming environment built on mutual success.

We assist our members with confidential Personal Advisory Circles—small, non-competing peer groups that serve as a trusted sounding board and advice team—along with expert-led workshops on governance, succession, and financial planning. We also host special events that connect owners with experienced advisors and fellow entrepreneurs.
